Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is committed to the vision that all people have the opportunity to live and work in community with full and abundant lives. This vision guides our efforts in support of every Minnesota neighbor.
The LSS Public Policy Office engages employees, supporters, and the people we support by promoting civic engagement, building relationships with policymakers, and doing outreach on the state and federal levels in support of LSS’ mission and public policy priorities. LSS’ policy agenda is designed to address root causes, build more equitable systems, and strengthen resources in community.

Strengthen your civic engagement skills and confidence by attending an LSS Public Policy and Civic Engagement. Trainings are offered virtually or in-person, led by the LSS Public Policy team. Cost to attend will vary, sliding scale fee.
